Une carotte de 1300g, sans engrais chimiques, juste dans du BRF.

Nous avions entendu parler de l’expérience de Jacky Dupety (Ferme du Pouzat à Livernon) qui avait réussi à faire pousser 600 pieds de tomates sur le causse du Quercy.

Le Bois Raméal Fragmenté, qu'est ce que c'est ? Il ne faut pas faire de confusion, ce ne sont pas des copeaux, ni de la sciure, ni des déchets de menuiserie. C'est du bois VIVANT, c’est-à-dire encore en sève, que l'on va prélever sur les arbres en les taillant, ou tout simplement en entretenant les haies ou les arbres fruitiers. Les rameaux (exempts de maladie cryptogamique) sont ensuite passés au broyeur à végétaux, puis étendus à même le sol sur une épaisseur de 5 cm.

Ni une, ni deux, nous avons décidé l’été dernier de réaliser la même expérience dans notre petit jardin de zone pavillonnaire. Le résultat est très prometteur : nous voici en possession d’une carotte de 1300 g.

Cette année on recommence, mais sous serre !
